Two Story Transitional Home | Cary, North Carolina

A total home renovation for a busy working couple with a young family who needed an upgrade from the builder basic home.

The challenge was to make the clients’ space feel bright open and airy; and for it to exude a sense of character and charm from the dull and uninviting space. We mostly used the client’s furniture, with a few additional pieces and accessories. The kitchen got a partial renovation, with brand new counter tops and backsplash. The breakfast bar was lowered to standard counter height on the island and glass subway tile backsplash in a herringbone pattern added to the back wall. The fireplace also got an upgrade for a more modern and fresh look.
