Our client envisioned her Cary, NC, home as a sanctuary—a comfortable and inviting space to unwind, host guests, and create lasting family memories. The design challenge was to craft a cohesive and personalized atmosphere that reflected her unique style and preferences.
We took the theme from the main floor to the second floor, where we have a loft and three bedrooms. The client likes nature, so we incorporated floral artwork with comfortable and cozy chairs in the loft area, supplemented with her existing recliner sofa.
The master suite was to be a complete retreat with her furniture. We painted an accent wall and ceiling and added a beautiful crystal chandelier, new bedding, a settee, new artwork, and drapes to inject color that would rejuvenate her after a long day’s work.
For her daughter’s room, we got an upholstered bed with vertical channels, and the vertical channels were mimicked in the nightstand drawer front and added a large-scale art to make a statement while pulling colors from the art into accessories and pillows.
We achieved a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics by thoughtfully integrating existing pieces with new furnishings and decor. The result is a beautifully designed home that balances comfort with a warm, welcoming ambiance, ideally suited for everyday living and entertaining.
In her son’s room, we added some drapes, artwork, new bedding, a beautiful lamp with a textured base, and accessories to give it a complete look.
