Transitional Two Story Home | Cary, North Carolina

A total home renovation for a busy working couple with a young family who needed an upgrade from the builder basic home.

The challenge was to make the clients’ space bright open and airy making the client’s space to exude a sense of character and charm from the dull and uninviting space. We mostly used the client’s furniture, with a few additional pieces and accessories. The kitchen got a partial renovation, with brand new counter tops and backsplash. The breakfast bar was lowered to standard counter height on the island and glass subway tile backsplash in a herringbone pattern added to the back wall. The fireplace also got an upgrade for a more modern and fresh look.

Transitional Two Story Home | Morrisville, NC

A design refresh for a busy couple with a young family who had just moved into their new home.

The challenge was to give life to otherwise dull and plain walls in all the walls that were not going to be changed and to use the client’s furniture. We just decided to soften the rooms with tall drapes to accentuate the tall ceilings, and illuminated with multiple light sources in each of the rooms which highlighted the artwork and accessories; that were carefully curated to showcase the clients’ personality.
