The first step to all but one service that I offer begins with a consultation where we begin with your needs and how you want your home to serve you. You and I, will then tour the house and focus on the spaces and will take notes so I can create a basic framework of how I can incorporate the character and charm that your story will bring in your space to represent your personality. Functionality is the key to any space that enhances the quality of life of the people using it, and we will ensure that it is serving your needs.
We will then review my mission statement and process of how the project will progress and the terms of my Letter of Agreement.
Based on the tour, and understanding the scope of the work during the consultation, in about 1-3 days I will create a design fee proposal which will outline the scope of the project, my design fee to complete the project, and the non-refundable advance on my design fee that was briefly discussed during the consultation if you are ready to move forward with me on with the design project. This document is not the actual design plan but actually an outline of the scope of your project, the design vision, the fees and the terms of the contract that you will sign and return. Upon receipt of this proposal, the work will commence.
We also offer consultations only and you can check it out the details for those here.
